A unique program designed for those students willing to complement their studies or fully concentrate their semester on learning more about different aspects of Argentina, its culture and the wonders and mysteries of Latin American identity. Apart from regular modules, UCA adds this special academic offer, aiming to significantly contribute to the knowledge and understanding of Argentinean themes and Latin American singular problems, while broadening the look on how Latin American identity shows itself in culture, economy, literature, film making, politics, history, arts and architecture.
 The Program of Latin American Studies (PEL) offers a great opportunity to enjoy an academic expe-rience that will bring students closer to specifically regional subject matters. A selected choice of 20 to 25 courses will be offered each semester, and the combination may vary from year to year. ALL courses are taught in Spanish.
Specific disciplinary background or high level Spanish proficiency may be required in order to take some of PEL´s courses. All courses have a similar workload and its approval requisites are the same as for any of UCA´s regular modules: 1. Minimum attendance of 75% of the classes
 2. Complete and approve all midterm, papers or any other form of evaluation required by the professor
 3. Approve the final exam/assignment
