UCA also has a wide variety of extension activities which are offered by its schools and academic units, the student unions, and other organizations.
These extracurricular activities constitute excellent opportunities for international students to:
• increase their knowledge of Argentina and its culture
• achieve a better integration in the UCA community
• fully develop their talents
• meet new people and friends.
Some activities may require the payment of a reduced fee.

UCA CULTURAL CENTER
This center offers disciplinary training and education to multiple persons in different social spheres by promoting, communicating and exchanging culture. It is based in the city of Buenos Aires, but it deve-lops its work at all offices of the University, where cultural activities are performed, with thousands of participants and opened to the whole community.
The activities of the Cultural Center are recommended for international students and the most usual include: series of lectures, courses and exhibitions, series of cinema debates, meetings with artists, festivals, The Culture Month, drama and musical workshop and performances, presentation of books, Lite-rary and Photography contests, commemoration of National Festivities and chess tournaments, among others.

UCA SPORTS
Award-winning area of the University, distinguished by the International Olympic Committee with the prize “Sports and Youth”, has, organizes all sports activities at UCA, open and welcoming to international students. Its main areas are:
• UCA representative teams (soccer, volley, basket, hockey, polo, rowing and tennis) and their participation in inter-university tournaments.
• Sports Schools: students and faculty attend the different associated clubs in which they recreationally practice volleyball, hockey, football (soccer), rugby, basketball, swimming, sport cycle, polo, nautical sports.
• UCA Olympic games: September every year
• Camping, training and recreational trips aiming to promote student interaction and integration.
Football, tennis and golf contests are a tradition at UCA.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT CENTER
This center seeks to articulate the human resources potential and knowledge base available at the University with the needs of NGOs, thus achieving an active commitment with the social problems of those less privileged.
Training programs are organized and addressed to any interested persons within such vulnerable groups, and also to volunteers working in parishes and/or NGOs.
Service projects and specific training and cooperation activities in the line of social promotion are also developed in this Centre, offering special opportunities to committed international students who are willing to deepen their cross-cultural skills and their cultural sensitivity by engaging in community service.
